This is my compo entry.
It is called killbox_1337dust and was made by me.

You are to create a post-disaster version of the provided base map by modifying brushwork, lighting, ambience etc.

You may be wondering about the title of my map, and why it looks like it is a CS map. (dust = CS)

The disaster that happened to this map is as follows:
1. I gave the map to my mate [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r who is really nub at CS and has never mapped in his life. ([KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r is just a character i made up, it is still me :D)
2. [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r decided to turn the map into what he thought was a awsome map for CS. He turned it into a killbox with a dust theme.
3. the BSP handed back to me (yes, i handed the BSP to myself) was the result of a disaster.

in summary, the disaster is: the map got turned into yet another CS killbox with a dust theme.

[KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r has made himself a readme (r34dm3.txt), which I included with the map, but since he is a CS player, (and a bad one at that), he cant type to save his mother's grave from being incinerated while falling off a cliff into a pool of burning acid thats on fire. So i have included a translated version of his readme.

BTW: Ignore what [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r says about half-life being crap and the base map is crap, he doesn't have a clue about anything, and he could'nt pass a test to save hispet pineapple's pet rock's pet hamster from being chucked into a garbage bin, thrown into a compactor, compacted several times, and then being incinerated while falling off a cliff into a pool of burning acid thats on fire.

NOTES:
room1: the crate room.
this room is full of crates.

room2: the stairs.
this is a small room with some spiral stairs. Dont ask me what [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r was thinking when he made this.

room3: what used to be the office.
there is no door texture in CS_dust.wad, so i guess [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r improvised.

room4: the 'arena'.
this room is empty, and almost fullbright. Apparently, CS'ers like empty, shadowless rooms to kill each other in. (according to [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r)

general:
- some curved corners are clipped, because [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r seems to get stuck on curved corners.
- most details are removed, as details in a map distract [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r
- if this were a CS map, the spawns would be scattered throughout the map, without general concern for teams.
- this map is for HALF-LIFE, NOT FOR COUNTERSTRIKE! all textures are -wadincluded. (there are about 14 used)
- Note: to avoid any confusion, THIS MAP WAS MADE BY PENGUINBOY! [KiL]C00l-1337-Vad3r is imaginary!
